CCARC is opening a Thrift Shoppe at the New Britain Senior Center at 55 Pearl St, New Britain, CT 06051!
Founded in 1952, CCARC is a private, nonprofit organization providing day and residential services for more than 200 adults with intellectual disabilities associated with Down Syndrome, autism, genetic disorders, cerebral palsy and a variety of developmental and physical disabilities. In partnership with the New Britain Senior Center on Pearl Street, CCARC will be operating a Thrift Shoppe which will feature a variety of gifts, home decor items and accessories. The Shoppe will serve as a work site for individuals with disabilities and proceeds will benefit the nonprofit. The Grand Opening is planned for January 6, 2020.
